Charleston, South Carolina
On View Nov. 2025 - Feb. 2026
“With All That’s Withheld” depicts artifacts and architecture found across South Carolina. While originally conceived of as an effort to document the material culture of the region, the expressive visual outcome of the images transformed the work into a solemn contemplation of my own place within the South amongst its signs.

This ongoing body of work is the well from which images are drawn up for exhibition.
Drawing largely on small town antique stores, museums, cultural institutions, and similarly semiotically rich spaces, images were made across South Carolina, from Charleston to Camden, barring a few exceptions.
